We had a Haute Couture plant encounter. It was a veritable big bang of colors with cosmic inspirations. A profusion of flora and fauna that came alive with every step.
For this new season of Paris Fashion Week 2023, we had the privilege of accompanying Indian designer Rahul Mishra with our signature tinting makeup. We thus combined our shared expertise for a show inspired by the confines of the universe and living things.
The makeup look from the show
Lips subtly enhanced with a captivating nude pink, using 033 NUDE NEÏTSABES lipstick and 210 NEFERTITI cheek & lip tint. A glass skin effect for an opalescent, natural, and glowy complexion, with 600 PASIPHAÉ multi-purpose oil, applied as a highlighter on the cheekbones, eyelids, and lips. Eyes intensified with the iconic black mascara 410 CASSIOPÉE.
FASHION SHOW RECAP
Indian designer Rahul Mishra welcomed guests in one of the luxurious lounges of the Westin Hotel on rue de Castiglione – Paris. A familiar face on the Parisian runways since 2014, he was presenting his new collection, marking a new chapter for the fashion house.
Actress Kelly Rutherford, known worldwide for her role in the series Melrose Place, and Ashley Park, known as Mindy Chen in "Emily in Paris," both attended the event.
SPOTLIGHT ON COUTURIER RAHUL MISHRA
A key player in circular and social fashion, the Indian designer collaborates with over 1,000 Indian artisans whose impressive hand-embroidered fabrics and gold crowns can be admired.
Maximalism is the signature of the haute couture house, which creates voluptuous pieces with natural inspiration: mini-dresses embroidered with golden elements creating a structured silhouette reminiscent of a phoenix about to take flight, semi-transparent embroidered jumpsuits, exaggerated warrior epaulettes forming plumage, dresses composed of layers of golden leaves, and turquoise blue looks whose undulations recalled the dynamics of waves.
