No petroleum, no titanium dioxide
Everything we put on our skin should be consumable. It is from this adage that we have established a restrictive list of synthetic, non-renewable, unethical, or allergenic ingredients, to substitute them with a maximum of botanical, safe active ingredients from clearly identifiable supply chains. Thus, all our formulas are, among other things, completely free of petroleum or titanium dioxide.
FREE OF PETROCHEMICAL PIGMENT
99% of the colourants used in conventional make-up are obtained from synthetic pigments – CIs – derived from petroleum.
A more virtuous practice led us to new sources from organic ingredients. This is how we developed our own expertise in the field of plant-based colouring.
MICA MANAGER
We have joined the international Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI). Its new global standard aims to ensure the supply of MICA according to environmental and social criteria, overseen by the OECD.
WITHOUT TITANIUM DIOXIDE
We exceed all standards by committing our R&D to formulations free of titanium dioxide.*
This covering agent has been classified as potentially carcinogenic but is still authorized in cosmetics, although it has been banned in the food industry since 2020.
We have chosen to ban it now to guarantee you 100% safe products.
