Coconut shell

Derived from coconut shells, vegetable carbon intensely colors at very low doses. From the birth of prehistoric parietal art to the work of Auguste Allongé in the 19th century, its deep black brings lines and solid areas to life with a blendable density. Its use as a culinary dye, meanwhile, lends originality and contrast to preparations.
