THE COLORING PIGMENT

Red algae. Lithothamnion calcareum

They contain a powerful pigment in their plastids. It was in the Bronze Age that the peoples of the sea learned to master its coloring power. The discovery of amphorae and earthenware dishes found in the famous Uluburun shipwreck in Turkey attests to its use in decoration. On the island of Okinawa, centenarians consider seaweed a medicinal food due to its richness in iodine and fiber. A precious marine source, red algae offers deep pink hues. Rich in minerals and polysaccharides, it contributes to skin hydration and protection.

THE PROMISE OF EXCELLENCE

WHAT IS PLANT-BASED COLOUR?

+

WHY DO OTHER BRANDS USE PETROCHEMICALS?

+

WHAT'S WRONG WITH TITANIUM DIOXIDE?

+
